Do you buy the shirt/blouse first, then find the right pants, shoes, accessories, etc. to complete the outfit?

I usually start with new shoes, then pants, then shirt, then belt (if necessary). It seems shoes determines the rest for me.

How about you?

BOTTOMS UP, always pants first. It is simple logic to be trendy the cheapest way. Invest in good pairs of bottoms, though they make you look fashionable, they do not look repetative, create atleast 5-7 ensembles each buy buying tops that go well with them. and then buy footwear as per need and accesories as per occasion. The accessories always comelast as they are the garnish or spice to make you look in or out.

I start with the pants or the shirt, depending on which inspires me more. The more different the style, the more likely I am to shape the rest of the outfit around that piece. Shoes come after tops and bottoms - they have to match whatever it is I've put together. Accessories are always an afterthought for me. I wear very few, and sometimes skip them altogether.
