Is a little cleavage okay in church?I have a nice summer/fall dress, and it shows some cleavage. I will be baptising my 2 year old nephew. serious answers please.

Depends on the church. Episcopalian, sure. Church of Christ, no.

Well I respect church , as long as does show like dinner dress and if it is show your shoulder and chest too much , wear some scarf and make it modern. I love to look good myself and so do I wear very nice at church then any where else as long as I cover myself proper. Any way do not way long dress as Emmy's but if just cleavage , put something to make look great and good like to your babe christening.

most people have said that it's God house and to be respectfull of God's house. I honestly don't think God is going to care about your boobs. If your popping out of the top, i wouldn't wear it. But you said it was a summer dress. All summer dresses are cut alittle bit lower in the front. I wouldn't worry about it. And I don't think it's as revealing as you think. I like to wear clothing the follows the shape of my body. But I, in any situatuion, don't like to wear anything that too revealing.
example: there are 3 area that are concidered revealed too much. the chest, waste, and legs. If i wear something that reveals alittle of one then i make sure the others are covered.
Most people have their wedding in a church, if you wouldn't mind some wearing that dress to your wedding then it will be ok for this event.

hmm, i think people will undrstand you are dressing up for the baptism, and the eyes should be focused on your nephew. I would take a light sweater or shaw thing, at least while you are in the spotlight, but im sure people know you and would not think you are trying to be skanky. And if they judge you because of that they need to go to church more.
