that is exactly the effect he is going for (upsetting you) don't let it get to you. why do you still talk to him? after I break up with a girl, i can't 'still be friends' it just doesn't work like that.

If you broke up with him, and he is the one who got hurt, this is his way of hurting you in return. He knows that you seeing him with another girl, supposedly, his girlfriend, will rekindle feelings in you that you had thought were gone.
In a way, this could be his way of telling you that he wants you back because he knows your feelings and emotions if you have been together for awhile.
He knows what triggers your feelings.
If you are still wanting him back, talk to him, explain that you didn't think that you would miss him or would want him back as much as you do.
Ask him if it is possible to try again, that way you will really know how he really feels. If he drops the other girl like a hot potatoe, she was only a decoy to get you back into his life.
If he doesn't want to be with you, then he probably never was really "with" you!

I'm sorry to say but he's being as immature as you are. If he's flaunting the fact that he has a new girl in his life then he's trying to tell you that he's better off and trying to make you feel guilty.
As for you wanting him back I would suggest thinking about the things that made you two break up to begin with. Is your time and effort really worth that?

If the guy is immature and spiteful then by all means it is normal. But you are not with him anymore, and it sounds like you did the breaking up so you shouldn't even give him a moment more of your time.
You will get over your continued 'like' of him and move onto other men who are actually worthy of your time that will spend their energies to please you.

You should stop having feelings for this guy. He probably assumes that (a) you are over him by now, and (b) you and him can be friends and you will be pleased to know that he has found someone who makes him happy. Why feel jealous? It's over. Done. Fini. Move on, girl, and get over it.

That only happens if he wants you back. So if you get a new guy then introduce him, and maybe that will get him jealous. If it doesn't work confront him and tell him how you feel.

Do you know the meaning of "break up"? It means no more contacts either side. You want him back, but does he want you back?

Usually when you part ways with someone, you don't converse with them anymore. How can you still be friends, or expect to, with someone that you previously dated? It doesn't make any sense!

Just dont let him see you sweat!!! Its his intentions to get a reaction out of you. Act like you dont care... Or else he will know he has the upper hand.

If this guy has already found somebody else, he's not worth your love. Leave him. He's not worth your love. You deserve someone much better than him.
