Does anyone out there read cards, have had a reading done? Tell me about your experience. I had a reading done some years ago (using a standard 52 card deck) and it was quite accurate and interesting. The person didn't ask any personal questions (so she would have information to rely on).

This could include Tarot card readings. I used to do that with quite a bit of accuracy.

I read Tarot cards for friends and family. I read my own and my husbands. The cards don't lie. I trust and appreciate my skill and insight into my own and others futures.

I've been reading Tarot cards since I was 11,that's when I got my first deck.I have also read with standard cards. I prefer the Tarot. I used to do readings for friends, but found that when they proved to be too accurate, they got annoyed with me,like it was my fault. I now only read for myself, and close family. As long as the deck is new and you're the only one touching it,your readings should be accurate.

I read cards only when I'm lead to. I have never had silver cross my palm, paper or otherwise. I have been stunned by some of the readings I have been led to do and have certainly surprised the ones I've read for. I've done only a dozen readings for others in the last 15 years or so, but they were all memorable, and I have no idea why it was that way. Destiny? Fate? Providence?

I have personally never read or had my cards read, but i have always been interested in the idea. My grandmother says that when she was younger(like in high school younger) she went to a person who read cards and got hers read. she says that they were right. they said that she would marry a man a 1 or 2 years older than she, and that she would go to high school with him. they also said that she would have three children. Well my grandmother married my grandfather who is 2 yrs older than she and graduated from the same high school. I have an uncle and an aunt, and of course my father. so i guess the cards are real.

I do. Although the cards don't lie... it's a matter of interpretation. Tarot Card reading is just as reliable as Astrology. It's all a matter how it's layed out! Tea cup reading is also reliable if done right! Practice makes perfect! Remember also if you don't use it you lose it!

I've had friends and teachers do Tarot readings for me, though I've never done it myself. I think the answers are often correct, but I don't usually heed them until later. It's a complex answer, for one thing--difficult to decipher in the moment. It takes time for the full story to unfold in your life... I think ancient symbols have a lot of power & would like to learn to interpret them myself. Then I might pay attention in time!

I am an oracle card reader (archangel) and have done this for myself, friends, and several clients. I find my readings to be quite accurate. It has alot to do with intuition and trusting yourself, which, I feel, is a continual learning process. We need to learn to "let go" of what our brain is telling us "must be true" and listen to what our "higher self" has known to be true all along. Learning to "trust" yourself and your intuition fully, can be one of the hardest lessons that we can learn, but also, one of the most fulfilling.
