I am curious, does your son let you see him naked and how old is your son? Like when he gets in or out of the shower, will he walk by naked or will he hide himself? I am looking for answers from people whose son is around 15 years old. Thank you.

I have 4 son's and yes one is 15 years old. No my son wont (and I don't want to see him naked) when my son was about 8 he was still very happy to run around the house naked esp when he got out of the shower he would run into the lounge room naked. I did have to put a stop to this and teach him it was wrong to go streaking at his age. He out grew it. Now age 15 he would never do such a thing

I don't have a son because I'm 15. I don't let ANYONE see me naked. I take my clothes into the bathroom, lock the door, and after showering I put the clothes on and leave the bathroom. It all depends on how the son is raised.

When kids in their teens hit puberty their ideas of their bodies change and for some reason they become shy about who see them naked. Sometimes it is how the family raised them but most of the time it has to do with puberty. Their bodies change and because apparently no one has told him what is happening to his body and what changes are occurring they tend to withdrawal and keep quiet about his changing body. This is really to bad. If more parents would just talk to their children all the way from 4 to 12 years old about what is going to happen to them in different stages of their lives, the teenagers would have a better understanding of what the hell is going on with them. Now they get most of the answers for their peers much like on here. Mostly for other ignorant teenagers. Ignorance is not bad or stupid, ignorance is just not knowing the right answers.
At this point in his life he may apt to not walk around the house naked. But if he does... be proud of him as it tell you that he is comfortable with his body and understands that nudity in the family is not a big deal. I hope you have talked to him about how he feels about it? Good Luck

no. it's not normal to see your son naked at 15. my son does not walk around naked or hides himself...he takes a shower and dresses before he leaves the restroom.

I have 8 sons from 11 to 28 and we are all well bonded and comfortable. We love each other unconditionally and there is absolute trust. We feel that by shedding the phobias and being natural, we are as close as we can be. All of my boys and I shower together at the camping place, and swim nude when appropriate. The little guys like being included as men by the older ones, and they are mentored with their questions like hey big bro when will mine be as big as yours and when will i get hairs. I think its a beautiful thing when a curious little boy takes his intimate questions to the brother he loves and trusts, or his dad the same and doesnt rely on school yard information. A shrink friend of mine told me that I have the healthiest family he has ever seen and to change nothing and not listen to all the people who are in denial over their own sexual issues. I take all my boys to the doctor and am in the room while they are examined. They like the fact that Dad is watching out for them. A penis is 6 ounces of a 200 pound young man, hardly significant to spend so much time on. My nephews are the same way as are my brothers. We have no hang ups. Most people who know us envy our tight family bonds and wish they were us. All you crybabies about this subject should spend a weekend with us and see how beautiful it is when there are no phobias and the little guys are treated like men by the older ones. There is so much love in this house, its utterly amazing. Imagine a 28 year old giving an 11 year old a gentle shower when he has been ill with fever and throwing up all over himself and can barely stand. His brothers loving arms taking care of him,cleaning him up, dressing him and staying up holding him all night making sure he stays hydrated. Find me another 28 year old who loves his little brother like that. In all your phobic families, the little guy would be straining to cover up or stay laying in his own filth for fear his brother might see his wiener. How ridiculous. The other wise is that the men raise the boys and the women raise the girls, the boys are not emasculated by too much estrogen pampering from the women.
Lyssia you are an idiot ! WHen my youngest was 9 he got hit in the balls by an errant baseball, had I not stripped him down and packed his testicles in ice, he might have had to have them amputated. Today they are fine, but your way, my son would have been sterile you moron !!

I don't know, but I am 14 and I am very comforatble with my body. I will walk from my bathroom to my room naked. Regardless of anyone that could see me. It doesn't really bother me. Hell, I'd be glad to walk around naked 24/7. the world would be better that way, because people couldn't hide and would be forced to be themselves. No hiding. hahaha. But anyway.......yeah. I walk around naked sometimes.

Um i don't have a son, but I wouldn't go around naked in front of anyone! Maybe if i was really young and didn't care i would. But once a person starts school they don't parade around naked anymore.

Boys are different than girls. When a boy hits puberty he gets shy. He doesn't want anyone to see him naked not even his mom. Girls on the other hand are different. It never bothered me for my mom to see me naked. If she came in to ask me a question or something when I was dressing or showering it didn't bother me but boys are a totally different story. I am sorry to say but your little boy is growing up and there are gonna be many more things to come up that he is going to shy away towards you about.

Doesn't the answer depend on the family's attitude toward nudity and how modest or shy the individual is? Most 15-year-old boys would not parade around nude in front of family members, unless it was their super hot 21-year-old female supermodel third cousin.
