I want to treat my wife to something really special. We live in scotland but will travel to find the right thing.

Give a lot of TLC, attention, tell her how you're the happiest man in the world to have her in your life. Take her to a romantic dinner/vacation. Remember, pamper her, don't let her do household work.
Even women need a break from that.

Trust me, you probably already know, you just haven't had your Eureka moment.
Look around your house, any travel magazines with pages clipped? Any conversations where her or her friends mentioned a particular spot? Call her girlfriends and ask them! They want her happiness almost as much as you and will share to make her dreams come true, their a wealth of information in these areas. Take advantage of it. If her friends are rare, then call her sisters or mother, etc. Or is she saving for you two to do something "rainy day?" You have a history, travel down it and remember any hints she's dropped or clues.
It may not be a trip, perhaps bringing family to "her." Or something similiar, just day dream of what would please HER, what MAKES HER TRULY HAPPY? Then you have your start!

Diamonds are really a girls best friend. Garnsh it with a kitchen appliance & breakfast in bed.
Dont forget supper that night in a fancy restaurant but if thats out of the way, serve her dinner yourself wearing nothing but a chefs apron!
Oh, dont forget not to hog all the duties cos she'll have something planned for you too cos it also your celebration!

book a gorgeous hotel room take her away wine and dine her,, put flowers in the bedroom, petals on the bed and candles around the bath and just make her feel like she is the only one woman on the earth for that evening..
if you make a wkend of it take her 4 a romantic picnic the next day by the river? with wine and lovely food and a single rose.. just let her know how much you appreciate her..

go to venice get an anniversary gondola or u can pay to have the whole canal to urself you'll end up at the corlitini crystal restaurant and have food til u get ur own room in the diana sweet and they'll do allsorts e.g. spread flower petals/champaign unlimited room service but it doesnt come cheap

i always find a nice weekend away does the trick, or a spa break. Nice, relaxing, pampering. Good food, time to chat.
Find somewhere tucked away, open fires roaring. Arrange flowers , champagne.
If you type in romantic breaks in google you should find loads of sites to help.
Must be loads of beautiful places to lose yourselves in Scotland.

hire a limo, go pick her up at a random unexpected time, fancy posh restraunt, wine and dine her, expensive gift of jewelry, take her to a high class hotel, trail of rose petals leading to the bed, get an employee to light some candles at a predetermined time (thinking of fire safety) then do one (you don't really want them there) satin sheets, soft smoochie music, softly f*** her brains out. tell her of your every desire and how she is your eternal love.

take her to a plade were you were when you proposed to her and tell her how much you love her make her a list of all the reasons why she means more to you than anything tell her that she was and always will be worth you pursuing her and that she is more beautiful than when you first met her and you want to grow old with her.
