i have the serial number and everything because i brought it but i lost the CD. is there a wayy to still re-install it from the internet?

Also, try the sims2 website they might be able to point you in the right direction. Previous poster is right though, if you've registered you might be able to get a replacement disk, especially seeing as you still have serial # but only if you've registered. Otherwise I think you'd have to buy a new one. With all the new expansions out there though, the price has to be coming down by now on the original if that's what you're after. Try looking for it in stores and at online stores, even at the Sims2 site & EA's sites, they should have it for sale much cheaper than when it originally came out.
