Have you ever been called ugly?

did it bother you or did you just forget it and move on?

Yes all the time by my mother and kids in school. It hurt then but I am grown now and know that they did what they did because they did not know better. I am wiser just for knowing that and it does not hurt anymore.

It depends, I've had people call me ugly in high school, and of course it was a superficial comment about my looks. Mostly when people do that they are just trying to hurt you, and it does, even if you are good looking. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and only skin deep. I find the beauty of people inside, for who they are not what they look like. Its a shame that the world does not see it the same. You could be 10 pounds overweight and someone will say you are ugly. Just forget it and move on. Especially if it is a physical statement. If it is about something youve done, see if there is a way to atone or make up for it.

I have never been called ugly. If you have been called that, just forget about it and move on. Really........think about it, how many really ugly people do you know ?
Not many hey ? We cannot all be oil paintings or supermodels.
We all however have good aspects about us.
I would much rather be a friend of someone who is maybe not the BEST looking rather than with an ******* who call other people ugly. Someone who tells other people they are ugly have a serious problem. They are insecure about themselves and like to make other people feel bad in order to make themselves look better.

Yes,i have been called ugly ...i know that iam not good with my looks..but when one of my colleague called me ugly to my face when all my friends was around but for first time in my life i really got hurt very hurt but that lady was beautiful so she has all the right to say iam ugly.But after a day i came normal because i know the fact that iam ugly..

You name it I got called because I was the nice kid in school.
Then I joined the Army, went back home after and kicked the hell out of every bully who ever gave me a hard time.

Don't feel bad, life sucks in the end for bullies. You move on to bigger and better things while they sit back doing nothing for the rest of their lives in the same town, at the same job because they still think their the big man on campus.

But i think u shld forget and move on....cos beauty is different in everyone 1.... n not everybody can see though some1 beauty unless they r given a chance to see it.....so dun hv to get upset over this "kind" of remarks....

not ugly - but i have a bad hair and sometimes i'm being criticized for it and i felt reaaally bad everytime i wanted to get back to the person. it is just so mean to be criticized like that esp. w persons who are even less personable, but i just take comfort in them being worse physically than me. i try to move on byn accentuating on my good assets. i also did something with my hair so i'm feeling better now. sometimes criticism helps too,

i was never called ugly

but when i was in school there were times that i would wear some of the weirdest clothes...they called that ugly.

as far as i can remember i've never had anyone tell me that to my face.
