Ok.... I eat chinese food a lot... and I mean a lot.. there is a Chinese place around every corner and of course I like Chinese food.... on the other hand... one time I went to a Japanese Restaurant "Shogun".. the food was mad good, but we paid like $80 for every plate... .. so that was a first and only time.. but I really enjoyed it!

In terms of flavors. Each have a variety and it varies from region to region. I think ettiquite of eating is very different though. I feel like chinese food is more casual. It's actually ok to shovel the food in your mouth. It's ok to burp at the table too! Eating japanese food is more delicate.

i love Chinese food, but the two times i have had Japanese, teriaki---sp?? chicken, and some kind of beef at a Japanese steakhouse, i loved it even more then Chinese, minus the fried dumplings, and beef on the stick that is. but truthfully i don't know if they count as Japanese food.

Chinese fo course! The world is too polluted to eat raw fish! Even cooked shellfish can have mercury in them.
