Do you do anything to try to save gas?

About $2.65 in my area in SC. It has been coming down lately. My husband will stop and get things we need on his way home from work at stores that he has to pass on the way to keep from going out of his way.
I spend more time on the phone with family & friends rather than visiting too often.
We try to buy extra diapers, formula, bread..... all the things we usually have to make a special trip to the store just to get.

2.80 in my part of Texas. I bought an electrically operated bicycle. It runs 15 to 20 mph and I take it to and from work whenever weather permits. I run local errands on it, the bank, light groceries, post office etc. It saves me a small fortune every month and it is fun too. The range is limited but for short trips, say ten miles each way it is great. I only use my car to save on electricity.

2.89 right now...pretty sad that I actually thought "hey, better fill up...that's a pretty good deal!" But considering it was just 3.20 a gallon!!
To save gas, I just basically try to consolidate trips...do all my errands at once and use the most economical routes. I keep my tire pressure checked, but that is pretty much it.

$2.62/gallon, my son is riding the bus to school this year... I drove him last year. I don't go anywhere unless I really have to, and when we go out with friends we try to ride together.
