First you need to determine what type of poker you want to play. There are many types. The cards, 1-10 are their values, then JQK which is pretty obvious, these are worth ten normally.. Depending on the circumstances, A can be either a 1 or 11 or both. To score in poker, you need a Pair, Two Pair, Three of a kind, Four of a kind, Full house (two of one and three of another) Straight (in numerical order) Flush (All of the same suit) Straight flush (in num. order and same suit) Royal Flush(With face cards)
These last need a minimum of 5 cards, depending what you are playing you might be drawing off 7 or 8. Only five make up a hand. The rules to each type of poker are different.

UH...wow.....Go to any of the online FREE gaminig sites a figure it out. Many have tutorials. As for the cards.....2 through Ace is the order....with Ace being able to be used as a one in many cases...... Good luck
