you are more likely to get pregnant with tied tubes than with cut tubes. with cut tubes the ends are cauterized and they have a section cut out so they are unable to connect and grow together again..the material used in tying tubes has a slim possibility of coming undone, but it is possible and therefore you could get pregnant..

YES!!! I had my tubes tied after my 3rd baby and now my 6th is almost 2. I was told that "sometimes a woman's body thinks something is wrong and fixes it." My body grew a partial new tube on the right side.

My wife had cervical cancer and it was understood she would never be able to have a full term pregnancy. They did a band-aid and 9 months later my son, one in a million, was born. A miracle. Then they went in cut and burned, tugged and pulled, put in traffic stops ,armed guards (just kidding) and told us for her to have another baby the odds would be 1 in 5 million. Three years later my daughter was born, another miracle in my life. The odds are that it will work but you can never tell. And they are both healthy and happy with children of their own.

Tubal ligation has less than a 1% failure rate, BUT if pregnancy was to occur there is a 16-50% chance that it could result in a Etopic (Tubal) pregnancy.

maybe if the Dr did not do a good job at the time. I have never heard of it but I am sure it still could happen. I would not say it would be very common tho

it sometimes happens. but it is rare. it usually results in an ectopic(or tubal) pregnancy. they can rupture and cause serious problems, since the fallopian tube isnt designed to carry a baby.

I do know a woman that this happened to. I guess a tiny strand regenerated and the egg was able to drop. if you suspect this can be the case I would visit your OBGYN asap.
