YES, cat BUT NOT ANYMORE . a small company makes a completely safe and FDA approved organic ant and bug killer. we had thousands of them. the high heat brings them out to search for water and food. we bought it this spring, it is just ground up orange peels !and that is it, and they make it into a concentrate, it is FDA approved for use, around food, animals, children, schools. inside the house and out! i have used it for 4 months it works great. and i have three dogs here! just type www .safeinsecticide.com/insect-Killer.html or call (561) 742-0080. I will have to email you the link , for some reason yahoo, won't let the rest of it on! or you can call them thanks RGG.

I live in California, and used to get ants all the time.... until I found pesticide chalk at the swap meet down the street from my house. I don't know what it is exactly because the writing on the little package is in Japanese or Korean or something.... it really looks just like chalk it comes in a very small orange box just big enough to fit two sticks.. I drew a line around all my windows, doors, pet food bowls( doesn't appear to harm animals) and around the perimeter of my patio.. stuff only cost 60 cents. It was well worth it, for I have been ant free for some time now!! Good luck!!!!
