Okay, I know that Hueles de queso means "you smell of cheese" but what I meant was why does saying it sound more romantic?

"Ich liebe dich" doesn't sound as if you'd wanna start a fight. Only if you can't pronounce it properly and the "ch"s sound all harsh.

Anyway, I agree that "hueles de queso" is somehow nicer than "I love you". But then again I think that "I love you" sounds better than "te quiero."

Just a matter of opinion, I guess.

Any time somebody says "I love you" is wonderful ~ in any language, but for me (British), the Spanish and Italian languages sound very romantic.

It doesn't. Nothing sounds better than I love you in English. Some one lied to you or your hearing is bad.

i think aishite'ru sounds cute. i probably spelled it wrong. it is the Japanese word for " i love you"
