They are into their 3rd match now and still undefeated... forget about reading, how about a convincing 2-0 vs newcastle? Will they keep it up? Is europe finally back in the hands of Villians again after such a long break??

Martin O'Neill is a great manager and will only help Aston Villa improve. It honestly depends on what happens in the transfer market for them as they do not have much depth so if they make a couple of signings they will maintain their form.
Juan Pablo Angel looks like a new signing.

I think the manager has done a great job selecting the players for this system.

But Villa will need to avoid injuries to key players to finish in the European places as the squad is too small.

Things are certainly looking up for Villa and they finally have a good manager in O'Neil.

I don't think we can stay in 2nd but i tell you what mate that is the best i have seen us play over 90 minutes for about 5 years we were absolutely brilliant yesterday we played the Geordie's of the park, and our defence didn't look like conceding which is something else that hasn't happened in years, O'Neill has really freshened things up around the place and it looks like only good things to come for us, i cant wait to see who he brings in before Thursday.
