This particular soap opera is VERY slow. Look how long the Salem Stalker story-line carried on and then another lengthy time for the Island scenario.
As for the gloved one, it can't be Chelsea because when she was working at the hospital, the black glove placed Clair's file where Chelsea would see it. And if you think it is Eve (the cop), she is about to be dead, so we'll have to see if the "glove" stops there.

It's summer, and they do that during the summer months. Black glove person? I think that EJ or who-ever that race car guy is, is involved with the Demeris some how. And it's him doing it.

Because most soaps like to drag things out for suspense. The problem here is some things dragged out for so long, nobody cares anymore.

It would make sense if it were Victor - although I do not know what pull he has over Lexie??
The BEST option would be Kristen DiMera - and to have her reunite with her son... Elvis Jr -- or "EJ"! Fun!!

Soaps always go SO SLOW. That's what keeps you watching.
