Citizen Cane.
I always heard it was the best movie ever made.
I saw it for the first time last year and it totally blew me away. It was way way ahead of its time.
Orson Welles was a genius, literally. He was only 25 when he did the movie. He did things in that movie that had never been done before. He didn't know what he was doing and everybody was too afraid of him to correct him. He created a masterpiece.
It was creepy too. In some scenes there would be a person standing in the distantce in a big room almost like a ghost.
Unreal!
