If you have done Artificial insemination at home and you are a lesbian couple please let me know how that went for you and about how much was the cost? Did it work on the first try? How many trys did it take?

I've never known anyone who was using donor sperm from a clinic to do that. You need to be under doctor's care to get donor sperm delivered to you---the doctor must fill out a paper saying you are under their care.
I am undergoing artificial insemination --I am not a lesbian, just a single gal. I have a sperm bank in LA that sends me the sperm. A vial of sperm is about $400. My doctor uses one vial per insemination. I am doing 2 inseminations per cycle. Plus, they have to ship it overnight so that costs about $200. Then the doctor's office charges me to do an IUI--intrauterine insemination. My insurance pays for half so I have to pay about $200 each month. So, monthly I am paying about $1100-$1200 out of pocket. It did not work on my first try. Most doctors will tell you the chances of it happening on your first try are very slim. It can happen, but chances are it won't. I'm getting ready for round 2 so we shall see if it takes this time.
Do a google search for artificial insemination. I did that and learned a lot.

I know a couple that used a turkey baster and one of their brothers "donation". No lie. She said he and his wife "did their thing" using a condom (no spermicides obviously) then they sucked it in to a turkey baster right away and then the girls did their thing and "poof" she was pregnant with her wife's brothers kid, twice. Unfortunately, she miss carried both times (she had medical problems previously unknown).
Just make sure your timing in right and everything/everyone is clean.

You know what just google it...Or use some sort of search engine..I dont personally agree with it but I am not about to judge you for it..
Hey you could even try and see if theres maybe some sort of message board where u can discuss this.

Have a cousin who used a turkey baster and best friends donated sperm. She got pregnant after 2 tries(months) and has a beautiful baby girl.
