Most people who are honest make differentiations between terrorists and non terrorists.
I am sorry if you feel that Americans hate all Muslims, but believe me Americans of all persuations do not believe in killing innocents.
It is just that we have mostly seen terrorists who are Muslims and have seen many Muslims on tv saying death to America. It doesn't inspire really good feelings in us when we have seen this for 30 years that most wars have been like this.
My son's best friend is from an Iranian American family so I obviously do not hate your people. I respect the writings of your poets like Rumi too.
Do not believe all the ravings you see on Yahoo, many people write things on here just to rile people up and see what nasty things they can get out of people. It is sad but true. Just look at all the things people in the different political parties within America are saying to each other as fellow Americans and you will see what I mean.

First all caps is shouting, calm down. Second, Muslim as opposed to secular governments, which may be headed by Muslims, do not protect Christians particularly well, so I won't be visiting. Third, no generalization applies to all members of a group. So, no one is talking about you as a person. Fourth, unless you are member of an extremist group, you are not even included in the discussion. Fifth, you say you hate Israel as a country, but complain because other people say they hate whatever group or country in which you live. Everything you said can be said by some of the people who live in Israel, especially the Arab Muslims. The only way to stop the hate is to stop it on BOTH sides.

I will take your position at face value and believe you.

What is missing is a large scale denounication of the violence and terror in the name of Islam from the world wide Muslim community. Without that, it appears that all Muslims are in agreement with the violent ones. If not about to committ the acts themselves, it appears that they are glad that some one is.

A public statement on just where Islam stands, It would make a total difference in the world's outlook.

Hey, calm down, don't put us Americans into one big group. Many of us know that Muslims are Good people. It's the bad people in every country, race, etc. that are killing. I have friends that are Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Catholic, Baptist; the list goes on. Most of us love all people, regardless. It's the few bad people that ruin it for everyone; but, eventually good will win. Okay? God bless you.

I've had Muslim friends before and they are one of the most friendly people out there.
