This question probably has been asked before. Did Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" really happen that way? If it was an accident, why did CBS still get fined?

I BELIEVE IT WAS ACCIDENTAL...ITS SO OVER THOUGH....THEY GOT FINED BECAUSE IT WAS A LIVE BROADCAST AND MILLIONS OF KIDS WERE IN THE VIEWING AUDIENCES

Janet's latest successes are far less than her "Rhythm Nation" days. I saw the broadcast and rebroadcast of the "malfunction" and I believe that Janet planned the whole event. Justin sings "I'm gonna have you naked by the end of this song...." and immediately walks over to Janet and removes a piece of her leather top. Now think about this for a minute? It is not easy to rip leather! And, the piece that he removed just so happens to be over her booby. Now, second matter. Her nipple was carefully covered with a silver sun star medallion. Janet has about a split second look of gratification on her face after Justin whips out her old dilapidated booby, and then coyly gives the camera a look of "Oh my gosh! My dilapidated booby just fell out of my tight leather top!" Then, she covers her booby and proceeds to walk off the stage. The End. Do I think it was planned? Yes I do. Janet is a media whore, just like her sad older brother Michael.

I think it is stupid to fine over something like that. As much trash is on tv now a days....they show just about anything...I've seen worse on tv than what Janet Jackson's malfunction showed.

uh i think madonna because of the fact she's been around longer and has extra know-how on performances. 2nd is Janet and final is beyonce yet i'm specific the three recognize what they are doing.
