how do i adjust the valves i can turn to top dead one way they are both loose and turn to top dead again then they are both tight? how do i do this?

The simplest method that works for all cars when you aren't sure about the correct procedure is---
roll the engine over (removing the plugs makes this a lot easier) until you see a valve open (push down) and watch it until it can't go down any farther and stop. Now is the time you adjust its mate.
If the exhaust valve is all the way open, the intake cannot get more closed, and you can adjust this one. Mark the valve you adjusted with a crayon or fingernail polish or paint marker or (?).
Now proceed to the next valve to open. Adjust its mate and mark it.
When they have all been marked, replace the spark plugs and valve cover and you are done.

turn to top dead center where thay ar losse then use a 10 millameter rench to lossen the nut with the rench on the nut use a flat head screw driver to tighten the center bolt
