First decide what you want to take, then research what colleges around you have that program. Then call their admissions office, tell them you're thinking about applying, and ask them to send you information. You'll probably have to take some kind of entrance tests, SAT's or ACT or maybe one from the school itself.

If you're not sure what you want to take, or even if you do know, starting out at a local community college can be a real good idea. Classes are usually a reasonable size, costs aren't as high as universities, and you can take various courses to see what you like.

You mention nursing. Many community colleges have nursing programs. You'd spend a lot of time in classes, and a lot of time in hospitals and other medical facilities getting supervised practical experience doing the things you're learning in class. In many places, you can become a nurse without attending school for a whole four years - in some states, as short as two years including summers - then you'll have to pass a state test to get your nursing license.

Good luck.

Well did u take your SAT or ACT?
Do you want to go to a community college or a university? Both offer nursing. How good was your grades? There is alot to think about and you need more info then the fact you graduated. If You hadn't graduated that would have been a easier question

Find a college, walk into their admissions office, speak with someone regarding financial aid, get an application, an admissions/financial aid counselor will help you from there. I walked into my schools office in 2002 just to ask if it was possible i might qualify for financial aid and thank goodness the couselor wouldn't let me leave until I'd signed up. I graduate next summer, and the great staff has helped me all the way.

Try contract the college you want to go to and ask for infornmation. If you planning on having nursing as your major you have to put a lot of years
