Will I get them at the last minute? My mother got a few stretch marks but early in her pregnancy. You can't see any now and she is in great shape. I use lotion so you don't have to put that down, I have tried every single idea people have given me like vitamin e, cocoa butter, etc. Do you think I will still get them in my last 5 weeks?

If you haven't gotten them by now then chances are you wont get them BUT do not stop with the lotion and stuff. There is always a possibility that you wont see them until after you give birth. But you also might just be one of the lucky ones and not have any at all. GOOD LUCK.

You only get stretch marks if you gain weight rapidly. My guess is you won't get them-most people don't. I have four kids and didn't get a single stretch mark yet my 16 year old son has stretch marks as he used to be overweight and lost the weight. His stretch marks are pretty bad, yet his mother has none. So you see, there isn't any set rule on who gets stretch marks and who doesn't. The best thing you can do is make sure your skin is supple by using mild skin lotion or cocoa butter. Stop worrying and concern yourself with the real issue-eating right for your baby's health. Good luck :-)

It's possible, but not likely. You will get a bit bigger in the last few weeks, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. And all I have to say is you lucky girl you. I got horrible stretch marks with my first right around the 7 month mark, they've faded to white now, but they're still noticeable. Congrats!!

You'll get them eventually after you have given birth. Because the skin is going to drastically become limp from the sudden giving of birth. What you did was good, it helped a lot wiht the elasticity of the skin. You minimized the probability of having stretch marks. You'll soon find out if you did enough. good luck!

Stretch marks may appear when the skin stretches more that she can, sometimes will appear during the pregnancy and sometimes after you have given birth and your skin is stretching back to its normal size. Will you have some?? that is something really hard to predict. They used to say that if I scratched my belly when I was pregnant I would get stretch marks...so that freaked me out....but then I found out that is not absolutely truth.

My friend had two babies and didn't have any stretch marks. With her third, she went overdue, and her baby was the biggest out of all. She did get some stretchmarks from him. It is possible in the last little bit to get some if your skin just can't take anymore.

Usually women gain the most weight at the end and that is when they get stretch marks because your skin does not have time to stretch. so you will probally get them most people do.
