I wish the Cowboys would have just paid Keyshawn what he wanted and addressed their O-line issues with what they paid Terrible Owens. I can't believe that this guy is that stupid that he can't seem to keep his mouth shut. Everyone agrees when they talk about T.O. that he is a great player with alot of talent but I dissagree when they talk about his work ethic. Being a good teammate is just as important as being physically ready to play football. By him missing meetings and other obligations he is not being a good teammate and instead showing that he is selfish and that he thinks that the whole world revolves around him. I can understand him not practicing due to injury but missing meetings and not showing up for rehab is just plain unacceptable. He makes alot of money and should respect the organization more than he has shown. It really seems that the Cowboys made a huge mistake bringing him here. I think there's a strong possibility that he may never play a down for the Cowboys but then again, I never thought he'd be here in the first place. Jerry Jones has to shoulder much of that blame. Thanks Jerry for bringing us such jerk.

He will never leave the NFL as long as some owner thinks they can change him or that his selfish behavior wont effect the team. I'm a 49er fan, so I witnessed first hand at what kind of destruction he can cause to a team. I think Jerry Jones is insane for giving him such a big contract. If he thinks that it is the only reason he got the boot from the Eagles, then he has another thing comming. Owens has QB envy. No matter how hard he tries he will never be more important then the QB.

I could rant on forever about why I loathe Owens, but I will just wait for him to trash Bledsoe and state why Brett Favre is a better QB for someone with his talents. What a fool.

Leave football? No, he's got talent. But should a bunch of Safeties pound some sense into him to actually be a team players...hell yeah. I would love to see my Panthers very own Mike Minter just hammer this guy and have him get up and go "Wow, I'm not the best player in the world, maybe I'll play with my team now"....dreamer

Yeah, if he doesn't get his $%&# together and play team football, he should retire early. I'm sick of hearing about him. It's not news, it's not interesting, and it's a complete waste of time.

(BTW Deion Branch was looking for a trade...dump T.O. and trade a draft pick or something for Deion would be my advice for Dallas)

He is one of the most frustrating players in the NFL--very talented, but has trouble with discipline and show-boating. I'm all for self-promotion, but not at the team's expense. As for staying out of football, there will always be a team desperate enough to take a chance on a player with problems such as Owens.

Its all just a ploy the Cowboys dont want to show what they have with him until the regular season. Terry glenn has been giving teams alot to think about, imagine when they add TO theyre not going to know who to double, the Tuna is very sly. Come on 9,500.00 for fines thats no a real fine.Go Cowboys!

He can play but he is a virus. Mike Tyson could box but he had a temper. Boxing is better without tyson as football would be better without T.O. Owens has money he just needs to leave

He's definately not doing himself any favors by not practicing for one of the most legendary coaches of all time. He's getting paid all that money and he can't even show up for practice. There is more to being a team player than just showing up on Sunday. He is not doing it. Get him out, for good.

i used to give t.o. the benefit of doubt but now i think that he has mental issues because any sane person would know that this is his last chance. i knew something wasnt right when he cried on national t.v while his granny was singing a song .then again when he caught a game winning touchdown v.s. packers get rid of him

the fact is that he is a great receiver- when he plays. i need to see him IN some recent football to decide if he should be out. i want to see his legs move, not his lips. GO COWBOYS! 3-0!

He doesn't have it upstairs. Last time I checked football was a team sport. TO will never be able to be a TEAMMATE, he doesn't posses this ability. So yes he should leave, but he won't.
