I have watched that movie a few times and I think that it was one of the better movies from that era.... FANTASTIC MOVIE!!! Also watch "All about Eve."

Great movie. Very creepy. And somehow funny, if you're in the right mood. Robert Aldrich, the director, did a lot of great stuff--including "The Dirty Dozen."
Like others have said, be sure to check out "Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte." It's just as good.

Yes, I've seen it. Or at least the version with Bette Davis/Joan Crawford version.
It has been a few years, but I found it to be creepy and I really did enjoy it. I like things that make me think about them after they are over. ; )
There is a tv version (early 90s), but I've never seen that and so cannot comment.

I saw it when I was a little kid, on the tv late night show. And it really freaked me out. Of course I was a fan of Shirley Temple. Needless to say Bettie Davis burst that bubble.

I saw it many years ago. excellent movie.
Mel mentioned they did not get along very well. Appearently when someone told Bette Davis of Joan Crawford's death, her comment was," I was alway told to speak only good of the dead. The b***h is dead. Good!!!
