Aren't we being unfair to say Muslim terrorists?

it seems to me that the term Muslim extremist, muslim terrorist is making a lot of people distrust and hate all Muslims, and group them all as evil. Since only a small percentage of Muslims are also terrorists, why don't we just call them terrorists or terrorists from the middle east.

It seems like using this type of term creates a lot of hatred towards all Muslims. And most Muslims I've met feel that terrorism is wrong.

Based on some of the posts, do you think that perhaps the media is part of the problem since we keep hearing them called Muslim terrorists instead of Middle eastern terrorists?

Unofortunatly Americans are tuaght to be afraid of them, there leader uses the terrorist actions of some of these Muslims to propogate an aura of fear and hatred in order for his people to agree with his course of actions. Through fear many innocent woman and children are being killed...

I'd like to know if so many Muslims aren't not terrorists as you claim, why don't more speak out about the actions of those who within their who hijack the faith to cause harm on all who do not follow their religion?

I agree. Just being Muslim doesn't make a terrorist. It's the media hype that does that. Hang people with sterotypes and preconcieved notions of someone else. Then uninformed people pass it along, with feeling.

yes totally. some muslims aren't even terrorists and they have to worry about being accused of one. its just like would u want to be punished for killing someone when u are innocent? i think not. thats how they might feel. next time u look at a muslim think how it must feel to be in their shoes.
