I havent chatted in a room in forever so I just wonder what do ppl do if they are not talking in the room?? Also I logged intot he parnet room and there is way to many preverts in there?? Why in the world would another women IM me to look at her web site?? I am very strait. I just find it odd that she would IM me from a room that is for parnets.

Chattrooms have lost popularity over the years, so nobody really uses them anymore, specifically because they are havens for perverts and porn bots, both of which you seemed to have encountered. The "person" who IMed you isn't really a person; merely a computer programmed to IM everyone about Internet pr0n.

I have noticed this also...all the Yahoo chat rooms are filled with Bots! They are showing up here in Answers too. As long as Yahoo allows it they will be around.

all the other peaple are chatting in private about you, how fat you are, your pimples and bo, probably laughing at you and ignoring you, Im sure its not personal tho.
you will get IM web sites sent to you because secretly these peaple kno that you are evil, also fat, pimply and smelly.

I've gone into a chatroom just to see if anyone had anything to say that made sense, and lo and behold, no one did..I think that's why people don't talk..or type.....

They are known as bots that are Iming you. They are advertisements for certain websites.
