Are there any good alternatives to the paypal payment system?

I hate working on the paypal site. 5 minute timeouts even if you're working, erased financial records after you download something, can't withdraw less than $10... Wrong kind of people running it now. A lot of idiocies on that site.

Paypal is the dominant player in e commerce especially for ebay. There are others but a seller would likely alienate the customers who primarily are using paypal.
