to the guy who said 30 or more, you should be slapped.
2-3 guppies tops, i wouldnt even put them in a 2 gallon, that would make a nice home for a single beta. smaller the fish tank, the more the upkeep.

No more than 3. Fishes does require plenty of space. However, I'd say a 2 gallon tank (bowl?) is still too small to have guppies. They love to swim.

Well...I had a one gallon fish tank...and I had about 20-25 guppies at one time, but they were NOT happy and they could NOT move around at all hardly. They ended up dying. The bigger the tank you have, and the fewer the fish you have the bigger the fish can grow.

General rule of thumb is 1 inch of fish per gallon of water .... so two inches of guppies for your 2 gallon fish tank.

Usually, you would go with 1 gallon of water per fish. Guppies are fairly small, so I'd say you could 2-3 per.

ok regardless of the fish you have "Left" you're over stocked... see approximately returning the a number of fish you nonetheless have. I dont think of every person else observed which you mentioned you will possibly desire to get Chlorine drops... please tell me it is barely considering you have run out and you havent had your fish in there without it. i recognize you mentioned you had no funds once you found out you mandatory the drops, yet i'm hoping you atleast enable the water "age" (sit down out for atleast 24 hours) till now putting those fish in. For now as u might desire to easily positioned a style of fish in a 2gallon hospital tank go purchase a 10 gallon tank... in case you cant locate the money for that get a great Tupperware field it is concerning to the comparable length from walmart for the ill fish. additionally get a heater and a clear out for it. PLEASE study UP ON biking A TANK. I opt to do a fishless cycle yet others have not got any situation utilising fish (i think of its recommend to the fish, yet thats basically my opinion) save up with the water transformations at the same time as you tank cycles. you will possibly desire to be doing 20% water substitute each 2 weeks commonly.. i might up that to a 10% water substitute each 3days in case you dont pick all of those fish to die. Please do a splash study on biking and much extra.

honestly, i would say not to put more than 2 adults. if they are young fry, i would say about 8. however you need to make sure that they have enough room to swim freely. overcrowding cuts back on the oxygen, and is harmful. if they are young fry, take into consideration that they grow fast.

There are two determining factors: 1) whether you add water to the fish, and 2) if you push down sufficiently to really pack them in there. Good luck. It took me several tries to get it right and it still goes haywire sometimes.
