Do what ever you want. Just don't be driiving through neighborhoods at 3am with your bass bumpin. Otherwise, ignore the tightwads who tell you to turn it down and enjoy, even if it is country. Rock it loud, do whatever.

Wats wrong wit U? Everything from the neck up. You need to learn respect for others. Only selfish, self-centered people do this. In America, you have the right to do many things, but you do not have the right to disturb the peace of those around you. Is that simple enough for you, a>>h>le???

It distracts other drivers and disturbs the residence in the comminty in which you live. Loud music is fine on back roads but once you get into residental areas the music needs to be turned down. In most towns and city there are also local ordiances(Laws) that prohibit loud noise including music

It is rude to force others to hear your music. It is also dangerous to both you and them. I know of people who work in plants with loud machinery every day and normally (or used to never think of working without an ear plug) . One guy in particular now doesn't need them he's ridden around in his car so often with his sound blaster rattling windows that he doesn't know the difference. He's lost most of his hearing. I don't want to lose mine so you can have the right to distroy yours.
Use a pencil or stick to take your hearing out, not loud music which injures us all.
Another thing is it damages you body. That kind of thing is not meant to penetrate your body, and your body does not have a defense against it. It can in the long run cause tissue damage, nerve, and heart ,ear damage, all irreversable. It may also cause other organ damge.
The studies are not all in yet, but something is damaging (especially young black males who are usually the majority user of high volume music) organs of young people causing damage in liver ,kidneys, lungs and brains. High blood pressure , kidney failure, and diabetes are running out of control in young black males. Some people includeing scientist beleive sound has more to do with damage to your body than we once thought.
IN both my city house and here in the country we've had to force neighbors to turn their music down. No one wants ot hear their windows rattling at one oclock in the morning. ( and both parties were at least 500 feet away form my house. That is rediciously loud. If you drive around with your music booming or loud music with ear speakers you too will join the old men in the doctors office for hearing aids long before you reach retirement. It's that simple.
It's also illegal in most cities, and counties, and for a reason.

Depending on the time you'll wake people up

No everyone like the same music

You'll blow your ears and the speakers.

You'll lose youself in the music and not pay attention to whats going on around you.

How about because it's against the law and will earn you a ticket? Besides, that music you play is not music to most.

go forth and conquer, it is a free country. Buuttt, I always wanted to know what is the point in blasting it soooooo loud that it cracks the speakers and makes the music sound bad and the car vibrates. Truly to me it sound so annoying. Of course if yours dosent do that,,,, go forth and conquer.

Nothing, as long as you can still hear car horns, screeching tires, emergency vehicle sirens, etc. Driving requires situational awareness. Don't deprive yourself of the use of one of your senses while driving.
