Personally, I LOVE "Friends". So of course, I like it better.

Friends has got to be the best show ever! the characters are so funny and loveable, the writing is great, and the cast works so well together- you can tell they really are friends, and you want to be one of them too :)

Seinfeld because almost every is self contained and frickin funny as hell. It was always a comedy and only a comedy, while Friends had a lot plot twists and could be classified as more than just a comedy, not quite a dramady but more of a comedyrama.

Both shows are excellent in their own way. I have a Jewish ex-mother-in-law, so I know that Seinfeld is not far off from the truth. They are all so neurotic it's funny.
Friends, on the other hand, they are all so likable. Phoebe is my absolute favorite. If both shows were on at the same time, I would have to watch Friends.

Seinfeld. The writing for that show is by far greater than any other comedy show around. The intertwining of the plot lines was ingenious. And how many shows do you know where the bit part characters are now famous?

Everyone on Seinfeld is utterly unlikeable, but they're funny, and some of the episodes are really classic. Friends just annoys me--it tries too hard for my taste.
