I made this casino site and it's been up for 2 weeks. As far as traffic goes, I've submitted to many, many search engines and I'm signed up with some traffic sites such as link referral. My key words are set up and all that good stuff. I get clicks but I haven't made one dollar. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong ? Thanks.

I took a brief look at your web site and a few things struck me...

* Most sites didn't work
* The ones that did only had a bunch of banners on them... very confusing
* I didn't notice that you used any AFFILIATE links. I'm not sure how their referral programs work, but usually you should get your unique affiliate link so that the site you're promoting knows who referred the sale. If you just link to a site it doesn't give you any credit. You might want to check that out.

Anyway, as far as marketing of our affiliate site goes...

If you want to make any substantial "sales", you have to focus on bringing targeted traffic to your web site.

What I recommend:

Write a few reviews of your favorite sites in a form of articles. Be honest and also get people motivated to want to click on those links and take up the free trial. Maybe write how you succeeded and how 1000s others do every day and so on...

This will give you some sites that the search engines might visit and include in their index -- that's good -- free traffic! Although there's a whole science on how to get top positions on search engines a simple strategy will do wonders...

Research your target keywords (use Overture's free keyword selector tool -- you'll find it at http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion )...

Type in your main keyword and wait for the results. You'll see how many people search certain terms every month. Pick the terms searched 300-500 times a month. Those terms most likely don't have much competition. Then build your site around those terms. You can find more info on how to do that in my free ebook titled "How to succeed online", you can find it here:
http://hypnoticmindtraining.com/OnlineSuccess ).

PROMOTION:

I suggest you write separate articles and submit them to article directories. This is a good way to get decent targeted traffic to your site PLUS you'll build inbound links to your web site so that the search engines will rank your site higher!

You can find such directories by doing a search on Yahoo! (write "article directory" in the search box). Write one article and post it to the first ten or twenty directories. Then write another and so on. Pretty soon you'll see a lot of targeted traffic to your web site :-)

I recommend http://www.goarticles.com and http://www.ultimatearticledirectory.com so you'll have a good place to start.

It is a lot of work at first, but in the long run you'll love this -- a lot of cha-ching :-)

OK, to not make this too long and confusing, use the info provided here and get the free ebook I give out.

NOTE: The better articles you create, the more people will come to your web site. The most important thing is the headline -- make it compelling! For the content use these guidelines:

* write as if you were talking to a friend you really want to help
* don't worry about being formal - in fact the more friendly and personal you are the better the results
* don't sound too eager for people to click on your links
* first write about how people are making 1000s with online games, then write how 99.9% do it wrong, then write there are a lot of scams, then write that you tested 100s of such sites and have come to a list of only 10 that you really recommend and give a link to your review site.
* write at least 10 such articles and submit them. They should be about 400 words, no more. At first it will probably take you about an hour and a half/article but after 3 or 4 you'll be able to do one in 30 minutes or less. It's really fun to do this when you're at that level... and rewards are great.

Hope this answer helps.

Have a great day!
