i know ciggarettes are bad..but why do so many folks love newport menthols??..i know that ppl smoke weed and love newports..alotta black folks love newports why is that?

I'm white and I smoke Newports. I like them a lot better then any of that other crap out now.

ugh! When I was a smoker I couldn't stand Newport! My choice was Marlboro Lights.

for the pleasure I'm mad now because i can't get to one
that's the bad thing about needing one and can't get to it.
but it's a nasty habit. and when I'm out at a bar that mostly white folks hang to they have these Marlboro representative's coming out trying to get them to try out Marlboro's. and once in the city i was at a bar with mostly blk. folks and they came in passing out Newport lighters. that's just another way to separate us can we all just smoke together in perfect harmony

That's because the marketing is directed towards black people,like marlboros are marketed to whites.

alot of other races love them to but it's because of the flavor it's so good and you can't get that flavor from another brand
