I have been having cramps all day today, and spotting(small bright red and more brown) yesterday and today. Someone told me its normal to have bleeding around the time of your 1st missed period. My spotting started 4 days after my anticipated period (which never came). I took 3 preg. tests and had the doctor take a blood test, all positive. Im just worried and wondering if anyone has any tips, or if they have gone through the same thing. Im very worried, and do not want to miscarry. Anyone know what the chances are of my miscarrying? Thanks in advance!

firstly the worst thing to do is start asking question here...i did the same thing when i started having this problem...personally it made the problem worse because i became obsessed with asking question and looking this up on line to see if others had this issue and still had healthy babies. Try to relax and gets lots of rest...true it may be implantation bleeding but it is hard to tell...i had this spotting for about 1 week then it gradually increased my doctor told me it could be nothing but wanted to do a blood test to check my HCG levels anyway to make sure they were rising...the day after he confirmed they had infact risen the bleeding got really bad...i did infact miscarry... I was 5 weeks along and had only known I was pregnant for 1 1/2 weeks the doctors told me that it was nothing that I did to make this happen...it just does to some womenstatistic have shown this to happen to 70% of women in the 1st pregnancy ( this was my 1st pregnancy, we had been trying over a year and were so excited) i know it maybe hard but please try to relax when you are stressed so is the baby it is still very very early try to hang in there and please please please dont go crazy online! (trust me i've been there) Good Luck!

The earlier you are in your pregnancy, the more likely you are to miscarry. Call your ob/gyn to set your mind at ease, it might be completely normal, or you might be miscarrying- which a doctor might be able to stop if you get there soon enough. But stay calm, some women get a very light period throughout their entire pregnancy. Good luck and God Bless.

Call your doctors office now. Even if it's closed, you can leave a message and someone with medical knowledge will get back to you. Slight bleeding is ok, but medium bleeding is something you should have checked out. Best of luck to you.

Some times seeing a little bit of blood is just your body getting rid of the old blood, but I would get to the doctor as soon as possible if I were you! I hope everything turns out ok for you!

are your pg tests getting lighter? if they are thats a good answer. you can go back for another test at the doc and they can give you your beta numbers, if they are going down then I'm sorry it is a m/c if they go up then YAY for you. it is totaly normal for some to bleed or spot around regular period time, but you are right to be cautious

you need to o to your OBGYN. But since it is Sunday night I would call the office and have the on call doctor call you back so he can give you advice on what to do. You may need to go to the ER. Get off the Internet and call your doctor. GOOD LUCK.

how about not posting here but calling your doctor ! only your doctor could tell you postively as they can run more blood tests to monitor the amount of hormone being released.
