Chris Hitchens is a British journalist who writes often on Slate.com. He is a strong supporter of the Iraq war and appeared Friday night on Real Time with Bill Maher, at which time he gave the audience the finger three times!

I'll tell you, sometimes I think he's a brilliant genius and then at other times I am sure he's needs to be on heavy meds. Either way, he's a completely engaging and entertaining individual.

He's a unique guy with own opinions. He's quite open about being a heavy drinker. Bill Maher would be out of luck if it weren't for characters like Hitchens to help his ratings. Hitchens obviously interests you and a lot of other people.
