That's going to depend on weather you like the ocean, mountains, country, city life, and so on. Most people like to visit Hollywood since it's the movie capital of the world. Others prefer to go to the rocky mountains in winter to snow ski. While others like the mid-west and open land. Then of course there's Hawaii with the surfers but of course California has that too. It's up too what you want to see and do while your here.

well that all depends on your interests. If you like to see landscapes then maybe the grand canyon. If you like roller coasters then six flags. If you're a big fan of Disney, then Disney World, if you want a beach(without the hurricanes) California, if you want to gamble : Las Vegas. If you want a big city, New York City, and if you want history or politics, Washington DC.

The Blue Ridge Mountains in NC are beautiful. Smokey Mountain National Park is close by with Gatlinburg, TN and Cherokee, NC nearby.
