OK, theres this girl, we are really close freinds and i LOVE her so much but today somthing happened, she got into a fight with her mom and the police came and took her away, her mom says shes going to put her in DCYF costody. She might be going away forever!!!!!i LOVE her what do i do?????

mayb you should ask your family if they could adopt her instead. if you dont wanna lose her, your gonna have to at least try to do this so this doesnt happen.

it doesnt seem like there is much you can do! if the DCYF keep her there then i would assume the best thing you can do is write to her and try to visit. she probably needs a friend right now so make sure that you make an effort to show her that you are there for her and do love her!

Make sure she knows you love her and are there for her. She obviously has some problems, and needs help. Maybe DCYF can help her with her issues. If you write, call, visit, and make sure she knows you love her and will always be there for her...she'll come to you when she gets out.

I think if her mom is doing this is for her own good. You can always be in contact with her and that will show her that you are a real friend cause Friends are those who will be with us in good or bad time. Try to talk to her maybe she having some problem that she doesn't know how to handle by her self but she think that nobody can help her or laugh at her problem.

All right, first why is she fighting with her mother? That just shows that she does not respect authority. If her mother is sending her away, she must have good reason. I know this will hurt but you must move on this young person has a lot of baggage, and you do not need that. Find yourself someone that respects her parents and herself that kind of young person would be a much better girlfriend.

well, i think her mother wants to rehabilitate her or something and although this will mean being apart, it doesnt mean it will be forever. maybe u can get a way to communicate despite shes there (i dont know if is it possible)
might be she needs counselling or something but give her time to reflect on abt herself and her relation to family.
u can ask updates on her mother and might be possible that her mom will tell her that you are still concern abt her. (this will be a good sign and will make her feel important)

They won't put her away forever. BUT, if the cops are taking her away and she's up to bad stuff, maybe this will help her out. You don't want to be with someone who has all the trouble.

I WOULD SAY THAT EVEN IF SHE IS SENT AWAY THAT YOU SHOULD FIND A WAY TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH HER AND IF SHE MEANS THAT MUCH TO YOU YOU WILL FIND EACH OTHER AGAIN MAYBE NOT NOW BUT FIRST TELL HER HOW YOU FEEL IF YOU GET THAT CHANCE
