Wat choo talkin' 'bout, Willis?

Are you asking, "How do I get young and old people to work together efficiently?"

"Cross-generational teamwork" sounds like a term out of U.S. Government Human Resource Manager's Handbook.

The older people have wisdom, experience, patience, perseverence. The younger people have vitality, fresh ideas, energy, eagerness, and imagination.

Use your resources. It might encourage cross-generational teamwork.

generation gap has nothing to do with teamwork... if you can lead, it doesn't matter what age they are, they'd still follow. a good leader can lead a platoon to victory by utilizing their strengths.

i was 37 yrs of age when i took my masteral studies... my classmates were either fresh graduates or ten years my junior. but i manage to lead them. by teaching them one thing... RESPONSIBILITY... how to handle situations and helping them thru... in a way, they elected me as their leader, and i led them to their diplomas... the strength of a leader lies within oneself. if he believes he is one, he can lead anyone to success...

It depends upon which generation you belong to what your strategies are.

You might also focus on your actual group instead of leaning on buzzwords to foster a managerial style.
