Yes, you CAN get pregnant... Your body will still ovulate after being on hormonal birth control for less than one month. So, if you ovulate, then that means an egg is floating around and all it takes is 1 sperm to make it in to get you pregnant... Even a drop of seman has hundreds if not thousands of sperm... "pre-***" also has sperm in it as well.
So yes, it is possible to be pregnant.
You haven't started your period yet, being on the pill for only 19 days, so I would suggest taking a pregnancy test right away... and then maybe once again around the time you would normally get your period.
Next time, don't have sex without a condom... Birth Control or not, a second method being used is always a better bet.

First of all, good for you for starting birth control before you had sex. However, you should know that you can get pregnant anytime, on any type of birth control!!!!! If you don't know that, you shouldn't be having sex.
That being said . . .if your have been taking the pill regularly, at about the same time each day, every day, then it is definitely working effectively by the 19th day. As I'm sure the instructions that came with you birth control pills says - the pill is only 99% effective at preventing pregnancy, and sometimes it doesn't even work that well - therefore, even if you take the pill perfectly, you can still get pregnant.
Also, you are definitely NOT safe. What are you doing have sex with some guy who isn't wearing a condom??? The pill won't protect you from ANY sexually transmitted disease, so you may have just exposed yourself to HIV, genital warts, bacterial infections, etc.
Lastly, men cannot control when they "come." Even before they have an orgasm, they leak sperm. So never believe the argument "I'll pull out." Even if they pull out of you before they come, they have likely still exposed you to their semen, and therefore you still may get pregnant. Good luck.

Birth control is not a 100% effective. They should of well informed you when you recieved these pills. You should always use a condom the pills do not protect u from any stds. Are u aware of this. I would think 19 days is hardly enough days to consider it being safe it is like any meds it does take a while for the body to absorb. The best way to preven unwanted pregnancy is to abstain from sex. That the only way.

Yes, you could get pregnate. Take a home test. And use a condom next time! Birth control pills don't protect you from STD's. And they only protect against pregnancy 97% of the time. Be careful.

2 of my 4 kids I got pregnant with while on birth control. 1 of them I missed just one birth control pill and the other I got pregnant while on the depo prevara shot.
The next time you have unprotected sex and you don't want to get pregnant you should call Planned Parenthood right away. They have a pill you can take now so you don't get pregnant (but I think you have take within 24-48 hours).

i am ever so sorry to state this to you but yes it is very possible to get pregnant on birth control. Honestly my mother got pregnant with me when she was on birth control. i am ever so glad that you took the responsibility to be on birth control before having sex but you should of still had him use a condom. Also it is also important to be taking your birth control at the same time everyday then it does really work the best! i am on birth control and still to this day i take it everyday at the same time. Please be more careful and good luck that you are not pregnant because the way it sounds you are too young! Hun if you need to talk i am here. sb_jabc@yahoo.com and sexysportangel_0110@hotmail.com got msn and yahoo.

yes you and him may have gotten an std. although results may not show up in a test for 3 months you should go get tested and stop having unpertectted sex. about the birth control issue you have i think you have to be on the pill at least 30 days. im not certian becuase every pill is probbly different. if the pill you take says it may take up to three months to work your probbly not in the clear. you should stop taking the pills in case you've become pregnet and in a month take a pregnency test.

Birht control take a full month to take affect. Once you have had your first period after taking the pill you should be protected as long as you are on the correct dosage. No one just "cums a little", they *** or they don't. Get tested to be sure that you are not pregnant. If you were both virgins you should have just waited a bit longer!

Yes, you could get pregnant.
Condoms can easily fail. Birth control pills also can fail you.
And yes, you should always use a condom...always, always, always!! : ) Did you know that 1 in 5 people out there are carriers of sexually transmitted diseases?
Be very, very careful!
