Black cat crossing your path. Walking under a ladder. The number 13. Splitting a pole. When you go to visit someone's home you should never leave by a different door than the one you came in. A hat on a bed. There are so many I could write pages about this, but I'm too sleepy.

Putting a hat on the bed, walking under a ladder, a black cat crossing your path, are all considered bad luck.

Carrying a rabbits foot, or finding a four leaf clover, are considered good luck.

If your right palm itches it means you'll soon come into some money, the left palm means you'll soon have company, if your foot itches means your going on a trip. Something happens if your nose itches, but I can't remember what.

Unfortunately my grandmother died years ago or I'd have two pages of these things. Hope what I gave you helps.
