I keep coming across this word and now I just have to ask. There are so many new words nowadays I'm lost!! Now I know how my parents felt when we used to come out with words. Even 'cool' means something else now.

a chav (in ireland named scanger)is a person who wears such brands or fake ones as LE COQ SPORTIF,FRED PERRY AND LACOSTE.they manly wear tracksuits,caps and addidas or any other sporting brand runners.they have horrible heavy accents and hate everyone who doesn't fit in there meaning of society.they usualy have there ears piereced.they hate people who are rockers/punks/metallers/goths/emos anyone who doesn't wear what they wear.they like to take drugs and drink.and the girls usually get pregnant around the age of 16/17.they wear alot of big jewellery.they attack anyone they see if they have a grudge and normally don't use there fist they will use a glass bottle ,knife or even rocks.i hope now that u understand what a chav is.

dont worry i never knew b4 sum 1 told me there stereotype is burberry cap, fred perry blue and white horizontal stripe jumper, berghaus, track suit bottoms, cheep bling (cheep gold), nike air max, trousers tucked inside socks. they listen to rave/new monkey. devvo off e4 is a chav theryre common and other names r chav/charva (the original)/ned/chivvy/cms
