I know it can be very frustrating. But there are some real gems of wisdom out there, you just have to look for them and ignore the stupid questions.

Because the schools in the United States Suck! I am sure every child knows how to use a cell phone or play a video game, but do they know their own address or home phone number? Or their parent's first and last names? The world just does not care about morals anymore. It is a world where everyone only cares about themselves. Sorry, but it is the truth. Mothers do not even care what their daughters wear in public. I saw one girl today who looked like she just finished her shift at a strip club, and they do not even care. Oh! The other two children were running around the store screaming and throwing items all over the place! No discipline! I know I am off the subject but schools and parents do not care and that is why it is just getting worse and worse. These people who have NO INTELLIGENCE will be trying to run this country! Guess what? They already are! Sorry, I just had to answer this one.

Its a proven fact that when people are in larger crowds they use their individual brains less. It's called mob mentality. Intelligence hasn't really gone away its been simply masked by the mindnumbing media and propaganda from the government which influences us to not really think about things but simply reflexively react because that makes us easier to control. People are just made to be busier and busier. It's a proven fact that less moral judgment occurs in that kind of environment. People slip into situational ethics.

What can be said about the intellect of someone who puts everyone in one catagory? There are some young people on here, some zealots, some bonefied idiots, but there are also many who do know what they are talking about and care enough to be of some help, if they can.

I hope you are not measuring the intelligence of the yahoo users by some of the stupid, ungodly answers which many of them give to the questions. For there are many intelligent people on the yahoo; yet many of them give answers and ask questions which just show their stupidity and ignorance, and lack of fear of God whatsoever. It is not always that they are not intelligent, but many times just show that they are full of the devil, and are most certainly on the road to Hell, according to the Word of God; which is what God's final judgment will be based upon.

You're undoubtedly correct, and we're all properly ashamed of ourselves. We are, however, struggling, each and every one of us, to acquit ourselves as best we can with the abysmal store of wit granted us. It seems like no one likes to even use the spell check button that yahoo provides. It seems like there are a lot of ignorant kids on the Internet these days and they just ask stupid questions for no reason.

Yes, intellectual people don't want to enter into conversation here with stupid people like you and me.
When they see our improvement, they may come. I surely believe there are many highly intellectual people out there, because the world is now becoming more civilized than a century ago.

i noticed that the majority users are young or teens. as we know, many schools still today pass students that can't hardly read or write. its sad its still going on. a friend of mine who's son just got out of high school couldn't pass the certification exam as a mechanic as he could only read at a 7th grade level, but still was graduated recently from high school. what are our teachers doing and getting paid for?
