Blame it on whomever you want. The fact is Islamic-fascism and terrorism has been on the rise since the Iran incident where Carter did very little in response to what could have quelled the situation 1979. Reagan didn't help the issue by selling TOW missles to Iran. Bush, Sr. showed some guts making Saddam retreat, but the Beirut attack in 1983 showed weakness. Clinton exasperated the matter on the Saudia Arabia hotel Towers attacks and the fiasco in Mogodishu, and the attack on the Navy ship USS Cole. Most actions above helped empower the Moslem world into thinking they have the upper hand through terrorism and are crusading to advance their dominance of the world through religious fanatacism and terrorism. By the time Bush, Jr. got in, he had little time to implement policies and actions he had planned before the 9/11 event took place. Psychics is not the question nor the answer. That attack could not be forseen. Just because an attempt had been made with trucks hauling explosives does not mean anyone envisioned a group of airliners crashing into towers was inevitiable

No we should not blame Bush. Our conspirators have been in this country since Clinton took office as they tried to bomb the WTC twice in 93 and 98 remember? They took the flght classes in 1997. Bush was in office in 2001 for seven months maybe eight months when the tradgedy struck. There were possibly alot of people at fault for this mess but one should not solely pinpoint on the president.

I wouldn't say it's his fault exactly....but he sure jumped at the opportunity along with his good ol' boys to use 9/11 as a catalyst to invade Iraq (which had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11) and set up Haliburtan enterprises....thus making him basically a billionare at the expense of all the lives lost due to 9/11.

There is plenty of blame to go around for the 9/11 attacks. And yes, Bush shares in that blame and should be held accountable for his part.

Anyone who actually believes Bush is responsible for the attacks on the WTC and the Pentagon is both a fool and coward. They're a fool for beliving it, and a coward for not doing anything about it. Of course, hardly anyone really believes that, they're just playing along with the smear campaign.

I am a Bush hater just as much as the next Democrat but you can not blame 9/11 on Bush. He didn't fly those planes into the towers and pentagon, terrorists did. He did however just sit there for like 8 minutes in that classroom which to me makes him look like a big coward. He is an idiot, I agree, but he is not a terrorist.

Being an idiot isn't the same as being twisted fanatical jackass that takes the lives of innocents. He isn't responsible for 9/11. There are plenty of other things to blamce on the present administration. Work out your logic. Quips are great when they don't open you up for the same jibe.

Makes as good a sense anyone on the left has to offer. They blame him for anything they can think of at any particular moment.
