because beauty is in the eye of the beholder. you ever wonder, some women have pretty faces, but men are not really interested in? Ever wonder, some women are so sexy but get no attention from the guys around her at all? Its because each person should fit the requirements of another person/group to be able to be ranked beautiful or whatever.
so A finds B attractive and not C; B finds both A and C unattractive, but likes D, but D likes C more than B.
