That is not always the case, actually it is in the minority, most older men who seriously want a relationship, wont go for someone too much younger. The men who do go with younger women, do it because they cannot accept getting older themselves, and by being around a young woman, makes them feel young themselves. There are just as many young men who love older women.

I agree with you! I think because they are insecure and want a younger package. I would think they would miss the company, brains and memories of life events with a younger women.
Most women over 50 know what they want and can offer so much.
I guess the male ego is too hard for me to understand. I hope that there are still men out there that want the depth of company of a refined women.

Precisely because women today in their 50s and 60s have not taken care of their health, bodies, and are stuck in the '50s, '60s, and '70s. Unfortunately, they begin to think of their face and bodies at age 50 then realized they can't get it back. Their medicine cabinets are full of pills for every ailment. I rarely see older women at the Fitness Center. I see them walking in the mall with their shopping bags for weights!

Younger women are caring for themselves by eating right and exercising regularly. They keep up on the latest fashion, technology, music, and social interests. They are better educated with knowledge of the outside world, not only their world. They don't carry as much baggage (health, wealth, family interference), aren't afraid to have sexual encounters with older men, fly to Vegas or Atlantic City for the weekend, cruise the Caribbean for a week, . . . but can drive you nuts with thoughts of tatoos, piercings, sky diving, and motorcycle runs!
Haven't met a 50-year woman who doesn't look like 70 with one foot in the grave. As far as 60-year olds. . . they, for the most part, are not interested in anything but their grown children and grandchildren. They don't have time for a real male relationship! Where are the fit 50-year old single women?

young women are attractive. i am 59 and i do not get asked to go out on a date. guys flirt with me but i have not meet a man i ever wanted to be with romantically. i do like them as friends and have a few special men in my life. my best friend is a man who has always been there when i am in need of help. he is younger then me and has been my friend over 25 years. best wishes Michelle

Its kind of sad when I see old men with younger women, because the man isn't living in reality. And the women are mostly in it for some type of monetary reward, like waiting for him to die so they can collect the insurance money.
