I just want to talk to other moms about children and step children and get things off my chest. I use to messege on stepfamilies.org but that is not there anymore. Just need to talk to other adults without people trying to hit on me.

The problem with predators is that they will find you wherever you go. Take a little time to create your own website. Open your own chat room, then you'll have the system operator power to boot anyone who bugs you. Lay out the rules plain and simple. You also might try ivillage.com

Let me know if you find one. I'm looking for one too. I used to chat at parentsplace, but it's gone or has moved. I hate nasty sicko-s who bug moms on the internet. I need a good place to vent too! Yahoo seems to be filled with a ton of teenagers who can not spell Good luck!

There are some really good places.
I personally like babycenter.com and parentcenter.com
both have bulletin boards and chat rooms, and for the most part, it really is full of like-minded moms wanting to have a break and chat about common problems.
