What do you think and what to what extent? How many best friends do you have and how much do you trust them? Your spouse? Your click or group?

I've asked this question before and one of my answers was this. do you think this answer is correct?

There are no best friends there are benefits. we want to have friends in order to help us out when we are down. if u think realistic there are no best friends there are only close people to you who will help you in order in case one day they will need your help so you will help them

I've grown cynical toward human relationships as I get older by choice and it's worked out OK.
Not something I'd recommend to everyone... because some are more of a "social butterfly" than a "wallflower" *like yours truly*
I would say however, that IF you've childhood buddies who've seen you through thick & thin, they're probably "true" friends.
With friends from a clique/ spouse, etc, it's a little hard because time changes, so do they, y'know?
And in today's modern world, status meaning money either financial/ material-wise sort of "determines" who your friends are... sad but true.
And yeah I normally acquire certain acquaintances, because I hope that by goodwill/ good deed, that it'll someday be paid forward for a rainy day. Call it clever manipulation or whatever, there's really no such thing as a genuine friendship without the other wanting something in return - that is a fact.

Well, I don't really know how many my best friends are cause most of my friends are my best friends.
I do trust most of people completely, even they are not my best friends.
and I don't really take benefits from my friends, cause all we do is chat together, pkay games together, help each other.

all we seek is happiness.

speaking for myself, no. when i meet someone i'd like to get to know better, i begin by giving them the benefit of the doubt, and to remember that nobody's perfect. for me trust is like love, it takes time to grow. the people we love most can, sometimes, hurt us the worst, and they may have the same question(s).

I'm barely 15 years old and I view friends as a shortcut to success.
If they can't help me or can't help me anymore they are useless to me.
If all they do is hold me back from my ultimate goal(which is to succeed) I'll destroy them mentally, socially, financially and spiritually.

Don't trust anyone = NO MORE X-FILES for You !

anyway - spending your life trusting noone will isolate you, and shall make one realy incomplete life of yours ...
Beter sometime fall down than be falled all your life... ( mistakes make us more powerfull - learm by your mistakes ) :)
