So many questions, so little sense...

Iran certainly isn't China's cash cow. China's making a very nice economy from domestic growth and labour, and in fact is pumping money into Iran because of the high demand for oil. If anything, the US is China's cash cow - most of the stuff made in China is sold in the USA.

If the Pope is kidnapped, I will have a party. But he's not going to be kidnapped because he's a placeholder. The *next* Pope may well be kidnapped.

And under the terms of NATO you are obliged to bail out Europe whenever they need it. Of course, that'll be difficult for you to do while all your good soldiers are off playing in the sandpits of the Middle East.

Iran buys military equipment and supplies from Russia, as well as nuclear technology.

Iran sells oil to China to fuel C's enormous and growing appetite for petroleum. China now is the 2nd largest consumer of oil, behind the US, and just ahead of Japan.

Who knows if the pope will be kidnapped. Other than an isolated nutcase trying to do it, I don't see any country or group trying to do it. The Vatican does not have any militaries fighting around the world, and Pope Benedict is not actively trying to overthrow any governments.

Why do we have to bail out Europe? That is a wide-open question. Military action in Europe? Where and what is the threat? Economic bail out? I doubt it - the Euro is stronger than the US dollar.
