I own a small company creating custom burp cloths, blankets, bibs, etc. for people w/ baby's name (or whatever they want on them). They are practical, yet sentimental and creative. What about like gift baskets for the mom to be, like bath products, chocolate, charm bracelets, hemmorhoid cream (j/k on that one! lol). Or even like a in the hospital gift basket w/ magazines, disposable camera, lip gloss, cute slippers, etc. Good luck to you! I've listed my site below if you want to check it out!

Think about where you're located and who your target shopper is - If I'm looking for a diaper bag, I'm probably not going to look at a kiosk, I'm going to be at babys'r'us.
What you want to focus on are "impulse" buys, because that's what sells at a kiosk - for example, if you buy an industrial embroidery machine and can personalize on the spot, that might be really cool (and prevent returns).
I would really go for a customization - for example, hand painted baby shoes and maybe matching outfits - or wall hangings for a baby's room, not anything that's "needed", because that's not what a kiosk is about. IF your kiosk has room for a mannequin, maybe get one of those really unique baby slings, carry it in a unique fabric, and change the one on the mannequin every day.
if you're coming here for answers, maybe your business plan was not so well thought out? Perhaps you need to hire a professional idea person (like me?). ;=)

Ooh sounds like fun. I hope it works for you. My friend is pregnant and read about Pregopops. I guess they're popcycles that are meant to help with morning sickness. We havent' been able to find any around here.
Try to stay on top of the trends in baby stuff. Natural products are popular , there's this new baby bath that's shaped more like a bucket that you put the baby in bum first. It's designed to simulat the position that they are in in the womb. I've also seen this new sling that allows the baby to be in different positions on your back and tummy etc, like a snuggly. That kind of new and trendy baby stuff is going to get peoples attention.
You could also offer baby massage classes or stuff like that. It's very popular here right now.

If you are artistic and able to do crafts, or know someone who is, and aren't necessarily looking for premade items to sell as gifts, there are things that could be made, such as diaper cakes (do a search on this online and you'll find tons of ideas and variations on this) or other cute shapes (you'll have to be the creative one for this part) you can make from combining receiving blankets, onesies, and small baby items together to have cute items with some variety that people will buy. These could have color themes for gender or cartoon/animal themes (winnie the pooh and such.)
You could pay someone to make and design these for you, or do it yourself if you want to take on the workload.
A kiosk is probably ideal for taking orders for such thing, and being a place for someone to pick them up.

I highly recommend Bumbo seats. I had to hunt for one for my son and finally found it at a specialty shop for 40 dollars. They are fantastic. They come in a variety of colors and everyone I know who has one swears by it, myself included!
Also "hooter hiders" are becoming a hot item..It's a blanket tyoe thing that you can secure easily over your shoulder and baby for discreet nursing. They come in cute trendy patterns.
Custom made car seat covers are always a popular choice, many usually run about 60-90 dollars even on ebay.
Good luck!

Slings and baby carriers! www.babyhawk.com and www.hotslings.com have very trendy fabrics that would appeal to the high end shopper, as well as being excelent for babies. The Ergo baby carrier is also a great item - people love it and it is unique http://ergobabycarrier.com/
