We officially broke up about a week ago. He tried calling me and asking me out for dinners in stuff but I stayed cool and didn't give him chance. But, I want to get back together with him so I asked him out and we met again. I told him how I feel about him but he didn't say anything positive back. Should I just give up and move on?

The fact that he met up with you suggests that he still values the relationship. So there is a chance you two can get back together. But you'll have to give it some time and maybe just meet up as friends for now. It's ok to hang out with your ex as friends if you enjoy spending time with him.

On a sidenote, he did not give you a positive response because he might prefer to let the relationship heal first, to be sure you're both ready before trying again. This is a mature response. Seems like a good man so I hope things work out.

It is too soon for him to be over you, he is just trying to make you feel rejected like you made him feel right after the break up. If you really want him back, apoligize for hurting him and let him know if he gives you another chance, you will be more thoughtfull about things. To tell you my opinion though, it sounds like you guys are not yet ready for a relationship if you would rather protect yourselves at the expense of hurting each other and playing games. (Sorry to sound so after-school special!)

HE MAY BE HURT BY YOUR ACTIONS IN THE BEGINNING,
SO NOW HE KIND OF PLAYING IT COOL TO SEE HOW
IT WILL ALL PLAY OUT. SO GIVE HIM SOME TIME THEN
TALK TO HIM AGAIN. THEN IF YOU DONT GET ANY POSITVIE
FEEDBACK FROM HIM THEN TIME TO MOVE ON.

His actions don't mean he's moved on completely yet. Just meet him every week or two to talk...
